this project happened before my pillowcase making this morning, but i'm still proud of it. a baby shower for my good friend maria was happening at my house and i wanted it to look cute. first baby, baby girl cute. so with the help of a very talented friend sarah i learned how to make these super cute pink pom pom's from martha stewart and this paper polka dot garland. i cut scrabook paper, folded tissue paper, measured and traced and glued...all without throwing anything across the room (i have a tendancy to get frustrated easily - my big hands and little pieces of paper or thread just don't go well together.)
and i loved the outcome! these pictures don't do it justice. it looked so cute for her shower. i hope these pom pom's have a good home at tammy's house in her little girl's room. (by the way - tammy made the most adorable invitations for maria's shower - now she's talented.) thank you tammy and sarah for all your help! i couldn't have done it without you.
now of course i'm obsessed with these pom pom's and wonder if they are too girly for grant's room...
