halloween

the boys have been excited for halloween for months. they would wear this scary
skeleton mask around and scare each other. they loved to ride bikes
around the neighborhood and look at all the spooky decorations.

they were both pretty grossed out at carving pumpkins. i tried to show them how fun
it could be. i don't understand it, especially for boys who love holding worms,
spitting at each other, and eating boogers.
what a bunch of sissies.

best. apple. cider. ever.

getting ready for trick or treating!
they've been excited for months to paint their faces.

i love my frankenstein pumpkin!!!

after trick or treating. chase and i came home first, his "legs too tired, mom."

everyone needs a little milk after so much candy!

and of course, we needed to ride the "motorcycle" in our costume

then grant and jason came home, after hitting up the whole neighborhood.

we had fun! hope you had a safe and fun halloween!

air show

we love the houston air show at ellington field.
this year we got VIP tickets from some good friends of ours.
it was awesome to have great seats, right on the runway, free food and drinks.
and of course great friends to share it with. :)
we had a blast. the planes were so close and so loud!

this oracle stunt man was AMAZING. i don't know how he does it.

i wish i could remember all the names. it was so neat to see the stunts and
all the old vintage airplanes. one of my favorite parts, which we didn't get any
pictures of, is the pearl harbor reenactment with the bombs and explosions.

we love walking around to get a close up look at the planes. we got to go inside this one!

all of us enjoying the cool weather. it was a perfect day!

the blue angels!
(a lot of these pics were taking by jason through our binoculars.)

poor chase thought they were too loud.

chase's favorite part! the police motorcycles.

pedaling

chase and i have fun while grant is at school
he was dying to learn how to ride his bike so he could keep up with grant.
he finally got it! now i can't keep him inside.
he's so cute and so much fun.

sometimes he'd get distracted pretending it was a motorcycle...
