Running

jason's been doing a lot of running lately. if he gets home in time, 

he takes the boys - chase in the stroller, and grant on his bike(with no training wheels!)

they go to east end park. grant loves to ride on the dirt paths, and they stop and fish 

for a while it's an understatement to say the boys LOVE it.

good times with dad.

Easter

we had a fun easter season.

 it all started with grant having a easter party at school.

i like his shirt choice. (i tried to convince him to wear a different one.)

these bunny ears got a lot of mileage. 

chase loves everything grant brings home.

jason surprised the boys with these HUGE

easter eggs from brazil that he had a co-worker bring

back for him. they were so excited!

their easter baskets on easter morning 

the easter egg hunt. we hid plastic eggs with candy inside, 

which means chase would find one egg, eat all the candy, 

then go to another...

veeeery slow easter egg hunting.

we also hid confetti eggs which grant thought were so much fun!!

(i'm still finding confetti around the house though....)

 we had a blast. we hope you did too!

spring!

and spring is here! the weather is beautiful.

we do a lot of hanging out at our house

and with all the rain, we build blocks inside...

and then get mad at little brother for knocking it all down

cooler beach days

we're quickly running out of days where we'll need our wetsuits at the beach. 

we did get one last really good surf day in a week or so ago, 

and there's something so peaceful about being out

 there with just our little family and the birds 

and sound of the waves.
