Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful break. From Grinch day hair, decorating our tree, making and decorating cookies, we've had fun. We went to Six Flags in Dallas right before Christmas and had a blast! The rides were great, we saw pretend snow, ran around for 9 hours straight, and all the lights and trees everywhere made it very magical. And we had a beautiful Christmas church service and Christmas day is always an absolute favorite. We had fun making and delivering Christmas treats and gifts to friends and neighbors and people in need. We've absolutely adored sleeping in, watching movies, eating WAY too much sugar, and just relaxing from work and school and normal responsibilities. We are forever grateful for our family and all we are blessed with, but especially our Savior, Jesus Christ, and all He has done for us. Thanksgiving in Tennessee

 Another epic Thanksgiving trip in the books! We had a fabulous week with Karen's parents in Memphis, TN. We walked a lot of parks, went on a paddle boat ride, saw lots of museums, the botanical garden, and toured Memphis Net and Twine where my Grandpa has been ordering fishing/seining equipment since the 70's! We went to the top of the Bass Pro Pyramid on a glass walkway to see the sunset! I loved to see the fall colors - I wasn't expecting so many. And Claire lived her dream of jumping into a leaf pile! And of course, we had famous Memphis BBQ and saw Beale Street. We packed the week full of so many activities! We cooked an amazing Thanksgiving meal and best of all made incredible memories. We are so grateful for our many blessings, and the chance we had to see our family.
