Merry Christmas!!!!

Well, firs of all, I'm not sure what's up with my stupid blog. I detest programming, so although I've tried to analyze the HTML, I refuse to put more time into it than I already have. We'll all just have to figure out a way to deal with it, or if I get enough complaints (namely from Karen), I'll just change the look and feel (template) and it'll fix itself.

OK--onto bigger and better things! IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!! yessssssssssssss. I just received an AMC card in the mail from my company. SWEET! I also received a miniature digital camera from them!!! It's pretty small!

So, as I stated before, it's christmas time!!! Here I am hanging my lights!!!! This year was the hardest as I had to put the hooks in, but from now it's going to take me like 5 minutes to put these bad boys up. It's not much for lights, I agree, but I bought the LED energy efficient ones and they are suprisingly pricey! Each year we'll add more here and there until we've got a nice collection. It's pretty for now I think.

We bought ourselves a couch!!!! It's our super Guildcraft!!! I absolutely LOVE it. I haven't been home to really take it all in as much as I would like to, but there will be time. I LOVE it!!!! It took us the entire year to save up for this puppy and I'm so happy we were able to get it.


This brings me to the fact that we've added a few things in this room since we last posted pictures of our home--such as the grandfather clock my mother gave us. I LOVE that thing too. Turning around in the center of this room you'll see my shelf I put up, the new Bombay computer table, our super (and real) Christmas tree, and our new blinds and rod!!! This room is my favorite place in the house right now (besides RIGHT in front of the fireplace when it's roaring).


Finally, here's that fireplace (I just cleaned it out in this picture). On the right you'll see our new reclinding leather chair!!!! It's a little nippy to sit in right now because of the cool weather, but when it heats up in the summer, I'm sure we'll build a better bond/relationship together. ; )

So You want to know what I've been up to eh? Well, SOME people, Jon, have to work a lot of hours and are not home all the time. Take for instance, me--I've been traveling each week to The Middle of No Where, TX. If you want to know where that is, look at Abiline, Lubbuck, and Midland/Odessa in northern Texas and right in the middle of those three small towns (they make a triangle kind of), is The Middle of No Where. I fly into any of those cities, and then drive for about two hours to get to the small city. So I'm almost done though with this particular client and wmay have more time to post at a later date. Here's what I've got for now, and don't worry, more will come soon.

First of all, we have a picture of the Mall! I'd like to point out a few features. First of all, as the sign says:, "Here, quality is not expensive." This just goes to show that you don't need to spend a lot during the holidays to get some good quality items for your loved ones. I'm not sure the mall is open anymore though; as evidenced by the toilet bowl conveniently located outside so you don't have to worry about soiling your pants before you find the bathroom (which always seemed to be the case as a child--it was always a race between me and my belt buckle, zipper, and button on my pants). They offer free exercising equipment to the right of the unisex restroom also. So in case your kids get too roudy, you can send them outside into the heat or cold and have them bike a few miles while you enjoy your shopping experience. I'm not sure about the tires--maybe part of the auto department?

It's interesting in this town. There are only so many people that live here, but they've learned some basic business lessons rather well. First of all, supply and demand. With only so many cusotmers available, not everyone can be open every night (Restaurants). So, in fact, they've all come to agreements such that each restaurant is open only during certain days and times. One Mexican restarausnt closed on all Sundays and Tuesday, while the other Mexican restrausnt opens. That way, they're not really competing. They've all agreed to NOT compete, and therefore, everyone wins! Anyway, it's pretty coolio. This place is open only on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. It's in Dunn, but if Dunn, TX consists of 15 miles of complete cotten fields and one restrauant, then I guess I've seen Dunn, beceause there is LITERALLY, NOTHING except this restaurant for 15 miles in any direction.

Right across the road from my hotel, is this place: The Ace Rat Hole. I'm speachless.

Down town, or should I say, in the square, you'll see this place. It reminds me of Napolean Dynamite; and I quote: "I'm Rex, founder of the Rex Kwan Do self-defense system! After one week with me in my dojo, you'll be prepared to defend yourself with the strength of a grizzly, the reflexes of a puma, and the wisdom of a man."

Finally, you'll see a picture of the place I eat, like, EVERY day. I've eaten EVERYTHING I could possibly want to try on this menu. Lunch, Dinner, day in, day out, I eat here: The Shack. One day, if you're lucky, I'll take you here. It's actually rather interesting. This and the mexican place I like to go to when I'm out here, in The Middle of Nowhere, TX. Lates!!!
