Canlas Home - The End!

This is the last picture of the bathroom. HEY! Who's that dead sexy guy standing in the corner on the tub in the mirror?!!??!






As you swing the door open to the master closet, you'll see the safest place in the house (structurally). It's weird to take pictures of because of it's size and shape, but here is one of two. This is Karen's side of the closet.











If you walk in a little bit and then turn you head, you'll see my side of the closet.







This is our pine tree. I took this side ways so you could see the top of it. Look at it compared to the roof of our house which is in the bottom right hand corner of this picture. this tree is taaaaaaaaaaall!!!!!!

Master warsh room--yes, waRsh

OK--as soon as you walk into the bathroom you see this: the shower door and the toilet door (closed right now). The bathroom door is open (hence you seeing inside), but literaly behind the open door is another door that leads to the master closet (next, final post).







Just ot the right of the shower is the tub--decorated with some tid bits I've bought Karen while I was out of town for work earlier this past Spring.





If you open that bathroom door, you'll see this little room--my relaxation room. This door to close this heavily fartinated area was an upgrade--VERY well worth it!








stepping up on the tub you can look down on whoever's in the shower and talk with them--not that I do this very often ; )


Here's from the door again and you can see some additional decorations including one of my oil pastel impressionist paintings. Oh--I have one more bathroom one I'll have to post on the next entry.

Yes--this is the last bathroom picture. My sink's on the right, Karen on the left (as if it's contents weren't evidence enough).







Now this is the closet and it's hard ot take picture of because of it's shape and size.

And randomly--here is our tree (the one on the left). Notice how small our house is compared to this freaking tree!!! (our roof is on the bottom right corner of the picture)

Master Bedroom

This is our bedroom. Yes, those are speakers I'm using as a night stand. More paintings also that Karen was deciding to get framed so we can hang them up. Oh, this is looking in fromt he door near the celing. Oh yeah, and my dream catcher so I dont have bad dreams.

Same vantage point as above but looking at my Magnavox TV bought in 1990. Notice the router in the very corner on the floor.

Ahhhh--my home network. It's centered in the master bedroom. The cable comes out of the TV, and the three holes on the right feed to the family room, the den room, and near the PHONE jack near the bed. That way, if we ever decide to drop cable internet and go with DSL, I can put the DSL router near the bed (where the phone line is), and then run the internet FROM there TO the bottom of these three outlets you see here. From there, it will go into the router, and two router lines head out to the family room and the den room. If that doesn't make sense to anyone, that's ok--it was primarily for Aaron anyway. I wired the house for gigabit speed. Too bad I will never have a fast enough connection to take advantage of it. WAHOO!!!! Only items remaining are the master bath and master closet.

OK, so here we have the bedroom that you COULDN'T see the door to when I posted the picture of looking down the hallway. Looking down the hallway it was around the corner to the RIGHT (hence, looking out of the bedroom to the LEFT is the hallway.






So this is standing in the doorway lookin into bugga's litter room (well, we don't have much else to decorate this room with yet. Take note of my neato remote controlled helicopter! Too bad I stink at flying it.






This is the bedroom that you saw down the hallway. It has the areo bed in it seen here. First looking inside the room towards the corner and the door is on the right there.








Now standing in the doorway lookin in.

Bathroom

This is the hallway that leads off of the kitchen/family room area and heads over to the remaining portion of the house. On the right you see a small closet, then an open door way (bathroom), then down the hall on the right are two doors (one of which is open and viewable from this angle and those are our two extra bedrooms that will be posted next). The other small closed door (almost straight ahead and to the left) is another small closet, and the door on the left is to the master.



Looking from the hallway into the bathroom you'll see the following (sick on right and bath/shower on left.









if you walk in and turn left (door open all the way in this picture), you'll see the toilet, and if you stand there and do a 180 you'll see the sink and mirror.









Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Oh--I made that clock also!

So standing at about where the table area is, looking back to the end of the house we see the Family Room. Notice the location of the couch






Now, sitting on the coutch and looking towards the right you'll see the fireplace (still not decorated).








Again on the couch, looking straight ahead is the TV and stereo sysem.

From the same location, but looking UP on the wall you'll see my surround sound stereo speakers (notice no wires are visible!!!).

The Kitchen

After you walk in the door and come down the small walk way, you turn right and see the following. Notice Karen's new "Home" and puppet cat decoration.







Turning just a little bit, you'll see the "L" shaped island area and table in the distant background.

A closer look at the island area with the sink. Karen was out of town for a week's vacation to Boston with her best friend--hence the flowers for when she returned.







Finally, if you stand looking back towards the den room and front door, you'll see the fridge and extra cabinet space. The door on the left there is a pantry for food.

Laundry room???

Well, at least, that's what I've heard this room is called. I'm not really sure though. I hardly ever go in there except to get to the garage/tool room.

You'll notice the tile throughout the house and our neato rugs.

Front entry

So after you walk through that front door, you'd be looking at where I'm standing to take this picture. The front door is that white door with the half moon design on it. The mirror and iron candle holders was Karen's brilliance at work. Yes, I painted that painting. Oh--Karen would want me to mention the red rugs. They really do add to the warmth of the home.

Just to the left of that door from the point of view of this shot is our den room (see below).


Den room with book shelf (with Pooh decorations) and grandfather clock (thanks mom for the clock; for those who didn't know, she moved to Utah and couldn't take everything with her).

Besides Karen's sexy booty, you'll see the hope chest in it's finished state as a secret preview of a post in the near future documenting the stages of the hope chest. It's by the far the coolest project I've taken on thus far.
