San Antonio

We dropped Lola off in San Antonio to see Jasmine's family. 

It was fun to spend time with cousins!

We just hung out and on Saturday went to the Quadrangle.

It was fun to feed the animals and run around in the sunshine.

We also played at the park, hung out, watched shows, and had a good time together.

It's fun to have some family close!

Utah trip

For my birthday, Jason surprised me with a trip to Utah to see the new

Provo Temple open house. I had mentioned years ago that I wanted to go when

it was done, and he remembered! It was all planned by him. It was awesome.

He planned it so his mom would be in town to help with the boys. She is so nice

to help us out. It was so fun - it was about 48 hours total time in Utah but so much fun

to be together and do things he planned and spend time with just us.

Right off the airplane Jason took me snowmobiling. Fun! We've never been!

The best part was the scenery you could see....amazing!

The next day we went to BYU and the temple. It was so fun to see BYU! 

We couldn't believe how quiet it was though. EVERYONE had headphones on!

We didn't remember that from our days there. I remember lots of laughing and talking

in between classes. It was crazy to see how much it's changed - here's a new building!

So pretty! It was so fun to go to a dedication. Jason's first time!

I can't wait to take the boys to one.

It was an awesome trip! Happy birthday to me!

Winter fun

It's been a warm winter, so we've had lots of outdoor time. It's been 

so beautiful with the sun and 70 degree weather.

And yes, somehow Chase is always wet....

He was trying to find gold so he wouldn't have to go to school anymore...

Grant found a baby turtle sunning! He was so cute. It was fun to watch him swim away.

Spent a lot of time paying hockey with the neighborhood...we love where we live

Chase is always building in the garage. Here he's making a mind 

control machine so we'll all do what he wants. 

The cooler nights were perfect for fires...

And my birthday! It was a fabulous day. We did presents, dinner, had some relax time - 

it was a great day with my favorite people in the entire world.  :)

Chase got me chocolate and Grant got me earrings. They know me so well!

I got all teary because Jason got me tickets to see the Provo City Temple

 open house!! I talked about wanting to see this when they announced it 

years ago. We used to have stake conference there and Provo is such a special

place for us. It's a trip just for us for 3 days to Utah. Awesome present! 

I was so surprised and shocked. I had no idea he was planning this.

We've had so much fun this winter!
