we're so glad he's back.

Party

grant's birthday party was a blast. we played pin the tail on the donkey, blew bubbles, squirted each other with squirt guns, ate cake, opened presents, and played non stop for an hour. 3 year olds are hilarious. thank you to dad for drawing a donkey for us!

fall gardening

we spent labor day weekend updating the garden for fall. new tomato plants, squash, peas, cucumbers, and broccoli. in a month or so we'll add some spinach and lettuce.

being outside, dirt, water, and grubs - grant of course loved every minute of it.

he opened presents at 7 am, had cookies for breakfast, met dad at chuck-e-cheese for lunch, played with mom all afternoon, had a picnic for dinner, and then more candles and ice cream.

where did the time go? how is he 3 already???? he sure is cute though... i can't wait for many more years of fun and laughter with him.
