we had an awesome Halloween as usual.
beautiful weather and lots of family fun!
the ward party was the week before.
grant was a ninja and chase was a....not sure.
he wanted to wear his normal "handsome" clothes but paint his face.
i think he was a ghost pirate? jason did an awesome job on his face.
he LOVED it. and loved making his hair green.
first round of candy....
lots of days we would dress up to meet grant at the bus.
every day he spent time decorating too. here he is making a spider web.
grant was a ninja for school. i meant to buy him a costume but forgot. poor guy was
probably the only kid at school with a homemade costume. good thing he's forgiving. :)
finally the day of we carved pumpkins! they were pretty excited.
even though they pretend they don't like it.
chase wasn't satisfied with just carving. he wanted to draw on his too.
i carved the scariest face i could.
jason and grant's turned out to be an awesome skeleton head.
jason got creative with his sewing skillz....
and hung glow-in-the-dark squishy eyeballs in his! very very cool.
dinner!
chase and i convinced grant to be a zombie with chase. we thought it would be fun if
they were both zombies. grant is such a good sport, since he doesn't like face painting.
we're almost ready to go!
we remembered the hair spray...
they had so much fun trick or treating. jason wore his scary clown mask and scared
more than his share of kids and adults. adults would tell him to go away, and a few
kids cried. mostly shy, cute little princesses. he'd take it off to show them it wasn't real,
but they still looked at him funny and ran away.
ugh. this sort of makes me feel sick. so. much. candy.
we had a great time! hope you did too! happy halloween!
