My parents came out for Thanksgiving which is always so nice.
We love to have them come and the boys are just so thrilled as well.
We always make such good memories and have so much fun.
the boys got their big christmas present early. they were so excited!
it's provided lots of exercise/fun for them. i love it that we can burn
off energy when it's raining or we can't go anywhere.
tuesday thanksgiving! we've been celebrating thanksgiving on tuesday so
we can eat the leftovers all week while my parents are here.
my dad is so great to do the turkey. i can't imagine doing this part.
chase was obsessed with the innards....gross.
jason was a great taste tester. :)
here's our table! it was soooo yummy.
after dinner we had a fire. the boys LOVE having fire outside.
we really need a firepit. i have plans i want jason to build....
we lit this lantern that was so fun. well, it started out fun. it was really exciting
to light it up and watch how pretty it was. then we let it go and it had fire and was over
our neighbors houses and we started to panic thinking it was going to light something
on fire and we were all going to jail. it worked out though. i can see how having
lots and lots of these would be super pretty to light up the sky.
the days were so beautiful that we hung our christmas decorations.
we also went to a fork of jesse jones park and walked around. it was so beautiful.
the weather was perfect and we even saw a bald eagle! it was so fun.

this was really cool. these ants were all marching in a line carrying leaves.
it was really fun to watch.

we watched lots of movies. after the boys went to bed, i would watch these marathons with
my dad - we saw all the jurrasic park, and all the rambo's too. it was fun.
we also got a christmas tree! i love love love love love real christmas trees
and i'm so thankful jason indulges me every year.
the boys also had fun watching shows with grandma.
my dad is great at helping us trim our trees and do anything outside too.
our trees have done so well since he started helping us prune them at thanksgiving.
the boys love having branches and sticks to play with. i love how they play
together and entertain themselves with just sticks and leaves. i love these boys.
