Nothing super exciting has been happening lately, just your usual
day to day stuff around here. It's still fun to document it though,
so I can look back and laugh and relive the memories.

Grant's car did awesome! Jason was sad to miss it as he was in the UK.
Chase likes to bake weird things. Here we are making green monster cupcakes.
The boys absolutely LOVE wrestling with their dad. LOVE IT.
They are sad if a single day goes by that they don't get tickled/wrestled.
school projects.... (grant looks thrilled i know....)
lots and lots of building and creating.....
painting! on the easel i used as a kid that my dad built! super cool.
fireworks. you can always find a reason to shoot off a few fireworks....
chase's obsession with boxes. he's got one all the time he's making into a time machine
or a robot or a house or "somesing" (as he says). i think, actually i KNOW, we've
gone through about 20 things of scotch tape and markers and glue.
but it's so fun to see his creations and if it keeps him entertained, i'm game.

grant was one of the announcers at the derby. he did a great job and was so cute!
see, we do try to do some learning. but it often goes like this with me ending up
laughing. the next picture (which i didn't include) he has his finger in his nose.
good luck kindergarten teacher!
jason had a two week trip to the UK.
we missed him, but it's GREAT to have him bring treats home!
and he brought home tomatoes that we started from seed too.
we attempt to have normal dinnertimes too, but again, this is often how it ends up.
lola came to visit! thankfully there were a few sunny days. i can't believe how
much it's rained. so. many. days. of. rain.
for the blue and gold banquet, each boy has to make a cake. jason and grant decided
to make an om nom cake from the game "cut the rope." it was a fun family activity.
we also had chase's birthday party (finally!). 5 four year old and balloons and cake
and games and the bounce house...it was super fun. the only problem was,
chase liked his silly putty so much decided to put it in his hair. and then
we couldn't get it out so he got a super short hair cut.
tons of fun things we've been up to the last month or so!
