finally my parents had the chance to come to the rodeo
it was AWESOME!
we went to the actual rodeo monday night and saw toby keith
we had great seats and had a blast, even though it was so windy and cold
(and we froze waiting for our bus since they shut the carnival and clubs down)
then the next day we took the boys to the livestock show and carnival
and had an INCREDIBLE time
it was beautiful sunny, cool weather and no one was there
i hope they can come again - it was so much fun!!!
one of the first things we hit up was the mutton busting
due to how tall/heavy grant is, it's probably his last year
he didn't get a great ride, the poor sheep looked weighed down
and wouldn't even walk out of the gate. but he still had fun and
we had a good time cheering him on.
we got a bunch of tickets for the carnival, and it was awesome to have
grandpa there to ride with the boys. GREAT memories!
chase was ecstatic to ride this green motorcycle
i think we might have wore the grandparents out....
chase was feeling sad that so many rides he couldn't go on
(like the ferris wheel) so grandpa bought him this monkey
(which he still loves and plays with!)
it's always sad when it's over...but we were so glad they could come!
