We had a fantastic Thanksgiving break adventure exploring Vicksburg, MS. Grant was in Utah at my sister’s house and even though he had a lot of fun, we missed him so much! We rented a cabin on Eagle Lake and were not prepared for how beautiful it would be! The views, the birds, the sunsets! It was amazing. We had a fun week exploring Vicksburg and the surrounding landscape. We fished, cooked, played games, toured a riverboat, and the old depot. We visited Vicksburg National Military Park, and were reminded of all the sacrifices made there. We also got to tour a gunboat that was sunk in the Mississippi. It was all very informative and interesting. Best of all, though, was making memories together!
We had a great time and we are so thankful for so many blessings we enjoy.
