We had an amazing summer trip - our family went for a week to Grand Teton National Park. Absolutely amazing place. The VIEWS! We just couldn't get enough. Those mountains are incredible! We rode the boat across Jenny Lake to Cascade Canyon, saw Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls, and also had a run in with a mamma bear and her cub. And we saw moose, marmots, chipmunks, lots of birds, bald eagles, and a VERY territorial grouse (he chased Grant up the trail!) We hiked Moose Ponds, String Lake, and visited downtown Jackson Hole. We swam in 50 degree water, and even go to do a river rafting trip on the Snake River. The last day was our epic 8 hour hike up 264 stories, to 9000 ft up to Delta Lake! It was steep and rocky, but the views were spectacular, on the way up and up at the top. It was so HARD, but so beautiful. I can't believe our kids did it too!
