We had a fabulous Spring Break. We just relaxed around town, saw some new playgrounds, went on walks, and caught up on sleep and movies and downtime. We did spent one whole day at the Rodeo, which is an annual tradition of ours. We have been going since Grant was tiny! It's one of my favorite days and something we all look forward to. The food, the rides, the games, the events, the animals - it's all so fun. Last year they added this parakeet cage and it's so fun to go in there and get the birds to land on you. We found out being tall has it's advantages - Grant would stand there like a statue and they'd all land on him! It was so funny.
We also spent a lot of time in the beautiful weather fixing our yard. WE planted 5 new fruit tress and had to take out 2 old apple trees that died in the drought last summer. Bummer. But it was fun for us all to be outside and make our yard look so much better. We also picked out and planted flowers, put mulch down, and raked a LOT of leaves that always seem to fall after we get a freeze. It looks so good now!
We had a great week. And the best part of it being over is that summer is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
