We wanted to see snow for February break, and so we drove to New Mexico to see if we could find some. And I'm happy to report that we did! We had a blast playing for a few days. We sledded down a huge hill and walked around in knee deep powder. Made lots of snow balls, snowmen, and snow angels. We visited White Sands National Monument, and played and slid down the most beautiful white sand/gypsum you've ever seen! And it was cool to the touch! Actually, it was cold! Such a neat experience. Near there was a pistachio farm where we ate pistachio ice cream and saw the world’s largest pistachio! We also hiked around in the beautiful forest, saw deer and wild horses, deer, and lots of birds. It was a fun trip and we woke up to 4-5 inches of snow Sunday morning, driving home for a few scary hours in a "snow globe" as Claire put it. But we made it home safe and now it's back to school and work!
