Thanksgiving in Arkansas

Since we couldn't visit any family or have any family come for Thanksgiving 2020, we decided to explore the outdoors. We went to the Ozark National Forest and decided to hike around for a few days. We rented a lake house and had the best time! The first day it was much colder than predicted - we were wearing towels from the back of our car as scarfs and hand warmers! But it was so much fun. We saw some beautiful scenery, deer, waterfalls, and cliffs and overlooks. We also had fires, watched movies, cooked a makeshift Thanksgiving dinner, and just spend a great few days together. Jason got to cross something off his bucket list, to repel down a 100+ foot cliff over this lookout which was super fun to help with.

We're so grateful for our family, that we're all healthy and well, that school and work can be from home, and that we have each other. We have so many blessings to be grateful for. We had a blast together and now we can't wait for the Christmas holiday season!
