We had such a fun time on our annual summer tradition to Grandpa
and Grandma's house. We were careful about not going into any gas
stations or restaurants so everyone would be safe driving there and back.
We had such a good time! We got to catch fireflies, catch lots of toads
lizards, and beetles. We helped them garden and do stuff on their property.
We hiked their property and lots of other parks in an effort to avoid
people and Covid-19. We went swimming at the lake and went to the
river with the slippery rocks that are fun to slide down. The kids even
got to ride Grandma's horse! We had such a fun time.
Oh and Jason and Chase found a tree to climb! 60 ft up! So crazy.
We had such a great time making memories. We're so grateful
we could see them despite everything that is going on.
We don't have fireflies so that was a super fun activity! We're looking
for the resident toad that lives here before trying to catch fireflies.
Hiking the property and playing with their cute doggies...
Claire absolutely loved all the flowers there! She picked a lot every day.
And she loved all the creatures. She's not scared of anything.
Doing some metal detecting...
Helping Grandpa...
The kids were so excited to ride! They learned how to groom, brush, and saddle.
Lots and lots of hikes outside....
The lake! There was hardly anyone there. We swam and seined for fish and had a great day.
The river with lots of slippery rocks! The kids love it here.
Climbing a tree on the property. It was so high! You have to look really
carefully to see the Chase and Jason up hanging at the top!
