we've been having fun during the fall times. it's not been as cool as we hoped, but
we still manage to have fun. we trimmed our front tree and it's becoming the perfect
climbing tree. jason got the great idea to put the hammock in it, and the boys love it.
chase is now super good at riding without training wheels and he LOVES his new
found freedom. every single day after school he wants to ride and wants me to make
videos of him. it's so cute.
sometimes when we're waiting for grant to come home chase makes magic potions...
grant really likes biking too, so as soon as he sees chase out there, he runs into
the garage to get his bike. he's into trying tricks and things though, which scares me.
we had to attend a hamster show....chase was concessions....
another thing they like to do is play in the garage. jason got a small hammer and they
can spend a lot of time hammering, building things, taking things apart....
i really like to see them work together and be creative and imaginative.
they say they are inventors.
jason was gone for a while to singapore and australia, so we had to entertain ourselves.
one weekend we went to a new beach in la porte to try. it was super fun. shorter drive,
small swimming area, sand to dig in, and a park too. it was a nice place for just an easy,
lazy beach day, especially when i don't have jason to help me.
it wasn't super warm, since it was october, so at one point i couldn't find chase....
but then i found him. he's solar powered like me. he needed some sun to get warm.
there were some jellyfish, which scared some people off, but we weren't scared.
they weren't too bad and grant loved catching them and seeing them move in the water.
nothing like a good trip to whataburger to end a beach day...
