it's becoming a tradition to go see my parents in georgia for a few weeks during the summer.
it's fun to see their farm and the boys absolutely love it - animals, lots of dirt, rocks, and sticks,
swimming, rootbeer floats, hamburgers, and all sorts of fun things at grandma's and grandpa's.
jason came for a week then flew home, and i stayed another week,
before doing the 15 hour drive home. it's rough, but totally worth it!
the first thing we did was check out my dad's amazing garden.
here we are picking blackberries for shakes.
chase being his usual helpful self
jason LOVE potatoes, so we dug up some of those
the boys were WAY more interested in the worms!!!
jason loves getting to use his bow and arrow
here's grant helping grandpa with his work
the boys LOVED doing some fireworks with dad!
the next day we went to this river with all these mossy rocks you can slide down
(i can't remember for the life of me what's it's called, but it's super fun)
my dad was great at waiting downstream in case anyone got through the current
we didn't want to lose the boys!
it's so beautiful there. such pretty scenery.
