Winter Break! Unfortunately, it was sort of a bust. Poor Claire was sick for 6 days, lying on the playroom floor with a cold. It really knocked her out. Thankfully, the boys had friends home so they watched movies, had campouts, rode bikes, and played outside. All my plans had to be scrapped because poor Claire just wasn't up to going anywhere. Jason was gone on a CAT ski trip for work, which was super fun for him. He had a great time skiing back country Colorado. Finally he got home and Claire felt better, and we had one afternoon at the park, but then we decided to go to the beach. We really needed to get out of the house even though it was pretty chilly. But we had the best time! We played in the sand, found shells, saw some jelly fish, Claire of course got wet, and we had a fire and snacks, and just enjoyed the wind and sea.
It was a great last day!
