Claire is 5!!! She's been waiting forever for this day to come. She has talked about her birthday for a long time and was so excited for it. She is such a fun girl - she says the funniest things, loves people and being around others, is adventurous and fun and can play and go for hours. She loves going to preschool and loves to play with unicorns and her my little ponies. She loves animals, stuffed animals too, especially cheetahs, and is always pretending to be a kitty. She loves collecting rocks and flowers too. She tries to follow her brothers everywhere and always wants to be in the middle of all the action. She is such a fun person to have around and she really adds so much joy and excitement to our family.
We celebrated her birthday on a Saturday and we had the best day. Due to Covid, we had another birthday at our house - and it actually was one of the most fun birthdays we've ever had. We came up with games we thought she would like and we worked on them all week. So after opening presents, we spent a few hours playing games where you could earn tickets and then we had a prize section at the end. She absolutely LOVED it. We played pin the horn on the unicorn, did a ping pong ball toss, did a 3 legged race, did a marshmallow race with a cup, and a balloon game where you had to keep the balloon from touching the floor. We did a jelly bean sorting game, and a dance game where you had to dance to get the ping pong balls out from a Kleenex box tied around your waist. I don't think our family has ever laughed so hard as we did at her birthday. It was so much fun! We then watched the new Paw Patrol movie, and had treats, cracked opened her geodes, and rode her new bike (which she picked out, it is green! her current favorite color). We had her favorite Chinese food for dinner and made a unicorn green rainbow cake with sprinkles inside (as requested). I think she had a fabulous day. We had so much fun celebrating the cutest, most fun girl ever in our family.
