Southern Utah

First Adventure of the Summer - Southern Utah. This has been on our bucket list for a while to see some National Parks in Southern Utah and so when we thought Covid was a little more under control, we planned a trip. We have family in Utah so the plan was to meet them there - so we could see some sites and see our family!

It was an incredible trip. We got to see our cousins and see a few national parks and forests, be outside, and just see some amazing landscape views. We started in Escalante and did Devil's Garden and the Slot Canyons. Those slot canyons were sort of scary! But so much fun. We also hiked Upper Calf Creek Falls and Escalante River. Then we stopped and saw Bryce Canyon and Mossy Creek Falls. We ended up in Zion National Park where we hike the river and Narrows, and Kolob Canyon. It was an amazing trip. We made such good memories. Even though it was hot, the kids did so well - especially Claire. She's incredible, hiked over 20+ miles that week with hardly a complaint and had to be carried only once. We had a great time and we were so glad we got the opportunity to go!
