August is a big month for us! School starting and 2 birthdays! We started school online and we're finally getting the hang of it. It's been a learning curve for sure, but we can do hard things! We had a blast celebrating Grant turning 14. Crazy how fast time flies! He's so tall and fun, so kind and good with everyone in our family. He likes basketball, nerf guns, and riding his bike. He is very social and loves to hang out with friends and family. He of course loves video games too! We are so grateful for him and love that he's in our family.
Our usual tradition is chuck-e-cheese but with the pandemic, we couldn't go. So we made our own arcade right here in our house. It turned out so fun! We got every device we could think of and put one game on it. We then had tickets and you got one ticket for playing the game and another for wining. And then you could turn the tickets in at the end for prizes. Grant said it was great and we had a really fun time! We also ate shrimp and cheeseburgers, and watched a movie that night. We had such a fun day celebrating.
