Fall is one of our favorite times of year. So many exciting things going on.
With Halloween being the best end to it all! There are so many things
we like to do - our church throws a Halloween party, we go to another local
church to get our pumpkins, we carve pumpkins, we pass out TONS of candy
to the trick or treaters in our neighborhood, our neighbors go all out in decorating,
and we love going trick or treating ourselves. There's also school parties,
haunted houses, and so much candy. This year it was beautiful weather
and didn't even rain! Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
The pumpkin patch! We love getting to pick out our own pumpkins.
Our church Halloween party! Claire has been talking about being a dog for months.
I got this costume a while back and she's been wearing it and barking around the house
for quite some time. The boys are characters from the movie Napoleon Dynamite.
If you haven't seen it, you must see it soon. And my shirt says "Professional dog walker." ;)
Time to carve pumpkins! You have to wait until the last minute in TX or they'll
get all mildew-y and slimy because it's usually hot around Halloween time.
The boys are getting so good at doing their own!
Claire has been talking about "cutting" her pumpkin for weeks, but was
TOTALLY grossed out by the seeds inside. It took a LOT of convincing to get
her to put her hand in there.
Grant's pumpkin is barfing....that sounds about right. :)
And of course Chase's is as scary as he could make it....
Of course, who does Claire want on her pumpkin? Mickey Mouse!
Halloween night! Trick or treating! We had so much fun. Got WAY to much candy, but
isn't that what Halloween is all about? Claire was so good at saying trick-or-treat and then
saying thank you! She would literally run to each house. She was sooooo excited.
There were a few scary houses she wouldn't go near....and i don't blame her!
