my parents finally retired and bought a beautiful home on 4 acres in Georgia. my sister and i decided to go out there for her kids' spring break. we could help them move in and just get together (since my brother and his family also lives near atlanta). i'm glad i braved the 14 hour trip by myself with the boys. it was worth it!
the youngest 7 cousins are boys (with #8 being born just a few days ago!) so there was a LOT of little boy fun. And Cam, the oldest boy cousin, was a great help and so patient with all the little guys (the two older girls were great too!)
my dad in front of his new house

here's almost all the boys
(we're missing emerson in california and lochlan in his mom's tummy)
(maddox (far right) kills me in this picture)
we did lots of fun things - here's the awesome
tree house that got lots of use
chase and i did a lot of exploring
grandma has 3 dogs which were a blast for the boys
chase would bark at the back door to go out and see them
i had to include this picture because it looks like
the german shepherd is about to bite someone -
when really she is a huge chicken
playing on the huge screened in porch with
chase loving all the balls that were available
this picture just doesn't do it justice
grandpa made waffles every morning and it was so fun
to see all the little boys sitting and eating together
grandpa was so nice to babysit and give chase rides around
(notice chase using grandpa's ear as a handle!)
and chase getting consoled by uncle ken (my family was so good to help
me out since jason wasn't there)
more fun outside
motorcycling - the little boys would watch/chase cam
(with the dogs also getting in on the fun!)
and then uncle rich would take the little boys when he could
one of the days the we went to the aquarium
it is an incredible place
trying to touch a stingray
(ignore the fuzziness of our broken camera)
uncle rich helping out with chase -
thank you, thank you!
cousin anneke helping grant -
he couldn't wait and dipped his whole shirt in the water
we had a blast! looking forward to the family reunion this summer!
