Halloween

We had a great Halloween season. It's one of our favorite holidays. We love to decorate our house and even got a fog machine this year! We went to our annual pumpkin patch (that was open again after being closed last year), we attended a church trunk or treat, school parties, neighborhood parties, and actual trick or treating in our fabulous neighborhood where tons of houses participate. The kids had multiple costumes except for Claire, who just wore her unicorn costume non stop. Jason added a few things to the Covid Candy Chute that was so popular last year, and the kids and adults in the neighborhood loved it!

We had a great time! Happy Halloween!

Labor Day - Pedernales State Park

For Labor Day we decided to get away and camp with some friends in Pedernales State Park. We had a great time! Due to traffic we got in late Friday, and had to set up camp in the dark - but we saw some cool scorpions with our headlamps and even some wild pigs! We hiked, swam, saw the falls, rested in our hammocks, collected bugs, ate a lot of smores, and had a wonderful time. It was hot, but we had the river close by to swim. And we showered with our hanging shower that we hung in a tree! We made some good memories for sure!
