motorcycles

chase has been obsessed with motorcycles for quite some time.

he has tons of them that he zooms around the house and carts around everywhere.

he LOVES to watch motorcycle stunts on youtube.

lately, he spends hours "riding his motorcycle."

it includes doing tricks on his bike in the house, while wearing a bike helmet,

a knight hat or construction hat, and something on his hands - mittens or

surgical gloves. it's so hilarious and so cute. and i can't believe how much time

he spends every day doing this.

demolition derby

we went to the BEST demolition derby we've ever been to.

don't knock it until you try it. 

we were like 5 rows up, getting dirt thrown on us. 

we saw a car almost flip in front of us, and the noise from the engines

was incredible. it was awesome. and i thought grant was going to have a

heart attack he was so pumped to be there. can't wait for next year!

with jason traveling and family vacations, we didn't get to the beach much this summer.

thank goodness you can still go to the beach in august and september!

there were some really good waves both saturdays we went.

the highlight? grant stood up for his first time!!!!

chase found this little hold in the sand and sat right down....

then of course grant wants one....

towards the end of the day, chase gets delirious from no nap

this time, grant would pelt him with wet sand and he'd laugh hysterically

grant was ecstatic that someone finally enjoyed him throwing sand!!
