beach day

we went to the beach in may before the rain and cloudiness took over this summer.

we had a great time surfing, boogie boarding, digging in the sand, etc.

the beach is a perfect day for our family! 

for megan

this post is for megan, my niece. she's going to her first ever horse show and i'm so excited for her!!!
this is me on my horse royal. the first video where i'm in braids is when i was about 10 or 12.
the second video is of me in junior high, maybe early high school?
i was on royal, the BEST horse ever. seriously. i got him when i was 10.
and he saved my life on more than one occasion.
i owned him for 10 years until he passed away.
i know there's a special place for him in heaven. :)

bike riding and camping

ever since grant learned to ride a bike, chase has been trying to keep up with him.

we got him a three wheel scooter which he loves.

and this craigs list big wheel from forever ago still gets lots of use

grant is attemping to ride jason's trikke, which scares me.

honestly, every trick grant does on his bike scares me.

his legs from the knees down are so bloody and bruised, i'm surprised

we haven't gotten a call from his preschool yet.

it's about time the little brother gets to torture the big brother.

the ward campout was a blast with our new tent!! finally we can all fit.

we bbq'd hamburgers, made smores, and had a blast.

(minus the snakes.)
