June = Blueberries Again!!!

It's an annual tradition to go pick blueberries at Moorhead's Blueberry Farm every year. It's hot, but it's also fun and well worth the work.

Here's what $20 bucks will get you (just over 6 pull freezer bags FULL; 10 lbs.)

And just to give you an idea of the size of the blueberries--they're huge (size of finger nail)

After a an hour and a half or so.

*Note - I (karen) am NOT sweating that much.

I poured water on myself because it was so hot.

I also think the heat is why I look slightly demented.

this kid cracks me up on a daily basis.

he's an awesome big brother and even better friend -

i don't know how i'm going to survive when he eventually goes to school.

he was being especially funny one day while

we were making cookies, so i got out the camera.

i love his long hair and funny faces.

so he's learned how to close his eyes at the

exact moment the picture is taken. oh grant....

grant, grant, grant...

i guess i should be mad but it's actually quite

a feat he can do it so many times in a row.

(and there were a lot of them)

i don't think i could do that.

then jason cut his hair.

oh and he's also learned how to make this

dead face at the last minute...very attractive.

he's so cute and funny and kind. what a great kid.

why everyone needs a little brother...
