Happy Halloween!

happy halloween! we had a fun year. first off, we used felt to create pumpkin faces - so both boys could be involved. grant really wanted to use a knife, but can you believe it, i didn't let him. so unfair. even though i cut out lots of faces, can you tell grant likes one thing? FANGS! and mad eyebrows.

trying to get pictures of the boys was impossible.

grant is hard enough to get to smile,

and chase won't sit still for a second.

so here's what i got:

we ended up with one monster and an airplane.

yup, we had to wake him up for the trunk or treat.

i just cleared 700+ pics off the camera...whew!

and i found a few of grant that i actually like!

these days it's IMPOSSIBLE to get him in a normal pose,

with a normal smile. he is such an awesome kid.

now onto the real grant, what the other 600+ pictures looked like...

i had my suspicions that grant would love to have a sibling, but i really didn't know how much. being around chase is the greatest thing for grant. chase feels the same way. now, i can't even get them to nap separately! they are hilarious. hearing them laugh makes me so happy.

during one of chase's morning naps, grant came to me

and said "look mom! i'm a tiger today!" (done with my eyeliner).

i must admit, he did a pretty good job!

chase is obsessed with the door stop things that twang

when you pull on them. grant loves to help him make noise

sometimes they just snuggle. lasts probably 30 seconds. then they're off...

grant is always yelling "mom! you've GOT to see what chase can do!"

and of course grant puts bubbles on his head in the tub

aaaaaaand puts boxes on his head

and then decides to take him for a ride in the box

and then decides he needs some accessories

then they dump the toys out of the basket and decide it's cooler than the box

then, thomas makes an appearance

and the train gets bigger!

then they use the box as a stand

then grant teaches chase to play soccer

even while we're packing for the beach, grant entertains chase

they are so funny! i'm so thankful for them...
