Holy cow, Chase is 15! His actual birthday was the last day of school break so we went to the DPS and got his permit! He can learn to drive now! So exciting. He's so excited to learn!
We had a great Saturday celebrating Chase. We had fun decorating for him, and watching him open presents - he got clothes and shoes, a microphone for his computer, and new headphones, and a few other things. It is always fun to see him get excited about opening presents. We had donuts in the morning, his favorite, and then headed to a specialty mac and cheese restaurant for lunch. It was so fun to try unique mac and cheese dishes! We had ice cream cake when we got back and then Jason took him and his friends to play airsoft. It was a great day celebrating Chase!
He's such a good kid. He's running track this semester, after a coach recruited him on site in the hallway, doing hurdles. He's almost a black belt in martial arts, which he's been doing for 2 years now. He is the cartoonist for the high school newspaper and is a great student. He's kind and funny, and a good big and little brother, and a peacemaker too. We had a great time celebrating him and we're so glad he's a part of our family!
