Our first and biggest trip of the summer - an epic adventure to Hawaii! 3 years in the making and it finally happened. And it was SO. MUCH. FUN. 8 days in Maui, first time the kids have been there, and we had a blast. Snorkeling every day, where we saw some of the coolest things - so many turtles, a 5-6 ft white tip reef shark, a huge school of either herring or sardines, an octopus, a 7 ft spotted eagle ray, and all the local hawaiian fish. We also boogie boarded, hiked, swam in some tide pools, did a boat trip to Lanai, ate the best shave ice on the planet, and got waaay too many souvenirs at the swap meet.
It was awesome! And sooo hard to leave.
