We kicked off our summer with a trip to the Ouachita
National Forest in Arkansas. It was a quick weekend trip, but we had a blast!
Such a hidden gem not too far from us. Beautiful crystal clear river, blue
water holes, and breathtaking forest scenery. We even snorkeled and saw tons of
fish! The weather was cooler, though the water was pretty chilly, but it was so
much fun. Let summer begin!
I can't believe it's the end of the year. Claire's preschool had the cutest graduation photos and ceremony. I am a mess just thinking about her being gone next year to kindergarten. She's beyond thrilled, but I'm going to miss her so, so much. She's had an incredible year with awesome teachers and made a lot of new friends. We're proud of you Claire!
We had a wonderful Easter week. We had egg hunts with church and preschool - and then Claire made us hide and find eggs about 20 more times. She absolutely LOVES hunting for eggs. (In fact on Easter morning, she threw her basket aside and said LET'S FIND EGGS!) She's so fun.
We dyed eggs, did our confetti eggs, and just had a fun family week with beautiful weather. Springtime this year has been good to us. Oh - we saw the Easter bunny on a walk through our neighborhood! It was so fun. Claire was so excited. We also took some family pictures the week before.
We had a great week together as a family and are so grateful for each other and for all the blessings we have. Hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday!
