Florida

For a final summer adventure, we went with Karen's parents to Destin,

Florida. Her dad had done graduate work there as a student in the 60's

and he wanted a chance to go back, and since we've never been, we

were game for a beach trip. And we had a blast! We all rented a condo

and enjoyed the beautiful blue water. We hit the beach, did snorkeling,

ate at some really great seafood places, rented jet skis, and fished. 

It was a great trip and we're really glad we had the chance to go together.

4th of July

Another summer adventure - off to St Louis for the 4th of July! 

We had an amazing time meeting up with cousins and extended family on 

Jason's side. We explored the science museum, had a huge family dinner, 

explored the city museum, saw amazing fireworks under the arch, played cards, 

swam, and went to the park. We really packed it all in for just a few days, 

but we wouldn't do it any other way. We're grateful for the

 chance to see family and make incredible great memories with them. 

Thank you to everyone who ran around with us, hosted us, fed us, helped 

with Claire, and made us feel so welcome!
