Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We dyed eggs, hung out, had an egg hunt,
ate waaay too much candy, and had fun watching the kids open their Easter baskets.
It was a fun weekend with lots of great memories.

Dying eggs

Easter morning!

Looking for the hidden eggs!

Claire didn't get the egg hunting as much as we thought she would. She did quickly
figure out there was candy in the eggs and wanted to eat it all!
We had to show her how to hunt though. We had some special eggs just for her.

Chase tries to climb everything so he got a rope he can climb as much as he wants.
It's crazy how many times a day he climbs this thing!

Confetti eggs are another family tradition. It's always Dad against the boys,
but they're slowly getting older and taller and better at getting him.
In a few years, it's going to get real interesting.
They love it though, and look forward to it every year.

Mom just takes the pictures. Claire thought the confetti was funny.

Hope you had as much fun as we did. Happy Easter!

Spring break

Spring break this year was low key. The boys just wanted a break from school,
to hang out with friends and family, go out to eat, and play. Perfect!

We had a fun time. One of our Grandma's was visiting so it was fun to
spend time with her. The weather for the first time in 2 years was perfect!
Sunny and breezy and beautiful. We went to a few parks, played, went on
walks, went fishing, and even to a wedding.

The boys got a gift where every month they get a machine in the mail
to put together. This came over spring break which was perfect! It
was a catapult and they had a lot of fun with it.

Love this picture!

Bounce house fun....

We also snuck in some chores. Claire was so funny throwing the leaves around.
She LOVES leaves and will throw any she can find. Grant was such a good sport.
We've never had this many leaves this time of year, maybe that odd snowstorm killed them?

Park and pizza!

Claire loved having the boys home to entertain her.

Our friends wedding! The scenery was so pretty I wanted some pictures of us.

Claire loved having Grandma to help her play
