slip n slide

every summer we put a slip n slide at the bottom of grant's swing set slide and he has a blast for hours sliding down it. i can't post pictures because grant has learned that you go the fastest without any clothes on....

but it does remind me of the AWESOME slip n slide my brother made at our family reunion. huge hill, loooooong piece of plastic, dishsoap = extreme fun.

Just got back from a Swift Family get together. So much fun. Thanks Camm/Judy for setting this up for us all!!! Quick run down of fun activities we did: Playing in the pondView of the rental house
Fishing in the pond (lots more bluegill and sun fish than large mouth bass, but two of these fed 6 adults)!
LOTS of Rummikub
Motor cycling
Kayaking
Seining with Grumpa
Playing in the river
Tie dying
family fun (don't let Chase's face fool you--he was pretty happy most of the time)
Tug of war
Egg tosses
doughnut eating competition
and water gun fights (and water balloon fights--but I didn't get pictures of the balloons since it was mostly me and megan)
Great times were had by all and a super set of memories were made. Thanks again, to Judy and Camm for a GREAT family vacation. I'll post pictures of the team relay race later. Ha ha!
