grant, karen, and grandma (her mom) all went to indiana to visit her sister susan and her family.

most days here's what we did - 3 boys trying to catch frogs down by the pond. the oldest one (carrington) is trying to explain how, grant is pantless AGAIN and trying to do whatever carrington does, and the baby (cozi) just is thrilled to be outside.

yesterday we received these in the mail. i was so excited!!! why, you might ask? because this is the very first piece of grant's halloween costume to arrive!



he's going to be he-man, and the plan is not to cut his hair until october. it's going to be awesome. (i must say though, it's a little disturbing that i need to shop in the girls section to put this costume together.)

Kentucky

we had a fun filled swift family reunion in kentucky for a week. we rented a lake house and went swimming, fishing, boating, waterskiing, horseback riding, bike riding, game playing - you name it we did it. we had an incredible time. grant loved having 7 other cousins to hang with 24/7. we can't wait for next year!

what we did most days - swam from the dock, jet skiied, while some took the boat out and water skiied/knee boarded/wake boarded - thank you uncle rich for driving so far with all your toys for us to use

karen and grandma! i finally convinced her to go and then i flipped her off by accident. she was such a good sport getting all wet in murky lake water (this water turned everyone's toe nails yellow after a week - strange).

here's what the cousins did all day. if they weren't swimming, they were horsin' around. grant usually started it.

after getting all hot horsin' around, we'd go on the deck and eat popsicles.

the fishing trip - all the boys went fishing on the boat for the morning - apparently uncle rich wasn't interested in fishing but needed a good nap.

the view walking down to the lake - it was awesome to be walking distance to swimming and boating. it was beautiful there.
