Day 4, part 6

Here's what we saw on our first day at Hanauma Bay

We got to Hanauma bay pretty late in the afternoon, so we stayed, saw enough to have a great time, and decided to re-schedule another morning to come and see it (we'll get to those pictures soon enough). Here's another picture of the ride home on Like Like highway

Now, this is the road down to the North shore--yes, down as in altitude, but headed to the northern shore of the island. We drove this SO many times while we were there. Notice the reflection of the sun on the water. It totally freaked me out the first time I saw this on Friday when we arrived. I was like--is that?!?!?! Water?!!? WHOA. There was just so MUCH of it!
Another view a little further down the road.

Day 4, part 5

We decided to stop and get something to eat after visiting Lanikai cause we were STARVING! We ended up at this pizza shop.

After seeing the two single best beaches of O'ahu, we headed back over to see if Hanauma Bay was open (it's pretty much closed from 9 AM to noon because it fills up so quickly). So here are some pictures of the views on the way back from Kailua area to Hanuama Bay.

After seeing Hanuama Bay, we took a ride through the Liki Liki highway to get home, and it was BEAUTIFUL!

Day 4, part 4

More of Lanikai:I found watching the water trickle past me fascinating. I could watch that for hours. I think it's because its just a simple thing. The water is just doing it's thing.
